Sharebox acquires Swapsafe from Spain, becomes the largest service provider within Key Exchange in Scandinavia

Sharebox, an Oslo, Norway-based manufacturer of a a locker service that makes key transactions safe and convenient, announced the acquisition of Spanish competitor, Swapsafe.

The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed. The agreement involves all assets within Swapsafe including KeyKeeper in Denmark and it's subsidiary in Spain. KeyKeeper was sold to to Swapsafe in the summer of 2017 by its founder, Christian Dehn, who now works for Sharebox as head of sales in Denmark.

Sharebox, founded in 2016 by Arne Eivind Andersen (CEO) and Leif Arne Dalane, developed a locker room developed from the idea of ​​simplifying and automating key exchange. At the beginning of 2018, the company announced raising NOK 5M, in order to expand its key exchange services across Scandinavia.
