Shares raised $10 million in a pre-seed round led by Singular and joined by Valar Ventures, Global Founders Capital and Red Sea Ventures.
Shares, a Paris, France-based startup developing a social investment platform, completed a pre-seed funding round of $10 million.
The money was raised from investors led by the France-based VC Singular, and joined by other backers including Valar Ventures, Global Founders Capital and Red Sea Ventures.
Shares, founded in 2021 by CEO Benjamin Chemla and François Ruty, is working for the development of a social investment platform that gives everyone access to the stock market and improves the investment experience by letting users engage with an active community. The product is yet to be launched and is supported by around 35 empoyees.
