Shark Gaming announced getting investment from Elwis A/S

Shark Gaming, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of hardware equipment for gamers, announced that it secured capital investment.

The money was provided by Elwis A/S and will be used to further expand the company's operations. In connection with the investment, Søren Lottrup has joined the board of Shark Gaming.

Shark Gaming was founded in 2009 by Mikael Taipalus as a hardware store and since then it has built a good brand rep among gamers from Denmark, working with e-sport teams such as Astralis and North. In 2017, the company had a turnover of roughly DKK 20M ($3M).
