simpleclub to raise €1.3M.
Simpleclub, a Karlsruhe, Germany-based business operation learning services, announced that it secured a €1.3 million ($1.5M) capital investment funding round.
The money was raised from multiple German angel investors Daniel Krauss (FlixBus), Christian Hülsewig (Schüttflix), David Nothacker, Julius Kurt Köhler, Nicolaus Schefenacker (sennder), Matti Niebelschütz (CoachHub) who were joined by existing shareholders from HV Capital.
Simpleclub, founded in 2015 by Alexander Giesecke and Nicolai Schork, built and operates a learning platform for schoolchildren available in Germany. The platform, which is also available via a mobile app, has 400,000 users, out of which 20,000 pay for premium services.
TheSimpleClub previously secured €2 million in capital funding from Holtzbrinck Ventures in 2020.
