Skyfri raised $3.5 million from Speedinvest and other investors.

Skyfri, an Oslo Norway-based SAAS developer of a plug-and-play solution for solar energy and O&M service companies, announced closing a $3.5 million in a seed investment round.

The money was raised from investors including Speedinvest and joined by Unpopular Ventures, Voyagers Climate Fund and by angel investors Johan Brand (Kahoot founder), Andreas Helbig (Atomico), Chris Murphy (Websummit), and David Rowan (ex-Wired Magazine).

Skyfri, founded in 2021 by Murshid M. Ali, Petter S. Berge and Pratik Ghoshal, developed a software tool for owners of renewable energy plants helping them automate operations, maintenance and asset management, as well as increase revenues and reduce down-time in production. Customers include KKR (private equity fund), Bosch, Cleantech Solar, Hinduja, Tata Power, Honda and Fibon Energy.

Skyfri previously raised $1.5 million in funding in 2021.
