Sloyd raised NOK 6 million in a round led by Skyfall Ventures.

Sloyd, an Oslo, Norway-based software startup developing a tool that helps anybody make 3D creation easier, announced completing a NOK 6 million ($680k) capital raise.

The money was raised from investors led by Skyfall Ventures, joined by the local angel investors Trond Riiber Knudsen and Haga Ventures, a family office of Fredrik Haga (Dune Analytics founder), Petter Haga (Poption founder), and Knut Arne Haga (Clarify CEO). The round included contributions from the Israel gaming company Overwolf and the pre-seed investment fund Fresh Fund.

Sloyd, incubated at Antler in 2021 by Norwegians Andreas Edesberg and Øyvind Sørøy and the Israeli Avi Latner, is working on the development of a software framework that helps anybody make 3D creation easier. The tool is expected to be launched in 2022.
