Soundboks has received $2.3M from Vaekstfonden.

Soundboks, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company manufacturing soundspeakers announced that it received a loan of DKK 15M ($2.3M) from Vaekstfonden.

The funding will be used to accelerate the company's international expansion.

Soundboks, founded in in 2015 and led by CEO Jesper Theil Thomsen, designs and manufactures hardware, selling the world's loudest battery powered speaker. In the last fiscal year the company lost money at a turnover of DKK 91M ($14M).
