Spark Sustainability to get €250k from Moomin and Jacob Ehrnrooth
Spark Sustainability, a Helsinki, Finland-based startup operating a mobile app for individuals looking to track their carbon emissions, secured a €250k ($300k) capital investment round.
The money was provided by investors from Finland, including angel investor Jacob Ehrnrooth and Moomin Characters Ltd.
Spark Sustainability, founded in by Felicia Aminoff and Amanda Rejström (CEO), developed a mobile app called The Donut, used for calculating carbon emissions and providing tailored tips for reducing emissions, as well as advice and information on non-transactional climate actions. The company aims to make money by selling ads to companies whose products or services help reduce consumer emissions.
