Spektral, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup developing an image processing engine, announced the raising of EUR 500k ($556k) in investment funding from SEED Capital

The company, founded in 2014 by Henrik Paltoft and Toke Jansen, has developed an algorithm that can automatically cut out studio images from consistent backgrounds, such as green- or blue-screens, but also from “standard backgrounds” used for school photographs, and also from the white backgrounds popular for product shots — saving time and money.

Total investments received (USD): 3.36M
