StockRepublic, a Stockholm, Sweden-based SAAS developer for the financial services industry, announced getting into an investment agreement for raising SEK 5.6M ($620k).

The funding round, which values the company at approximately SEK 50 million, was backed by local investors from Sweden, including angel investors Peter Benson, Simon Josefsson, Erika Eliasson and Mattias Miksche, as well as local state-owned agency Almi Invest.

StockRepublic, founded in 2018 by CEO Fabian Grapengiesser, Preben Rydin and Adam Svanberg, built a mobile first B2B platform including APIs and client applications for banks to connect or use as white-label. On the platform, users can easily compile their savings, view other people's profiles anonymously, get analyzes of their holdings through machine learning and discuss savings and shares.

Prior to this round, at the end of 2018, StockRepublic secured SEK 5M.
