Storvix, a Lund, Sweden-based startup developing cloud-storage solutions, announced that it closed a funding round of SEK 7 million ($820k).

The money was raised from investors from Sweden, including Quinary Invest and Giscom, joined by Almi Invest.

Storvix, founded in 2016 by CEO Luca Minoja, developed a data storage software designed to simplify data management and protection. The company's product, AiRE IntelligentFiler, is a next-generation unified data platform combining purpose-engineered hardware with a feature-rich software stack.

The software stack is powered by AiRE, an AI-driven operating environment with always-on smart data reduction algorithms.

The platform is also designed to be cloud connected from the ground up. This cloud connectivity is provided as a service called CloudSight, a cloud-based processing engine with deep analytics and centralized administration capabilities. CloudSIght and other cloud services designed to enhance AiRE IntelligentFiler are accessible from our cloud operations center, Merlin.
