Strawberry acquired 10% in Stureplansgruppen AB

Stureplansgruppen AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based holding company operating a group of restaurants and other hospitality units, announced that it entered into an investment agreement with the Norwegian investor Strawberry for selling 10% of the company's shares.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Strawberry Group is controlled by Petter A. Stordalen and consists of 11 companies that are active in different business areas. The corporate group invests primarily in real estate, finance, hotel operations and art.

tureplansgruppen Aktiebolag, led by founder and main owner Vimal Kovac, is a Swedish group with a number of restaurant and nightclub operations around Stureplan in Stockholm as its core business. The company was started in 1996 when Vimal Kovac bought the restaurants Spy Bar and Laroy, which he had previously leased together with two companies.
