Stronger, a Stockholm, Sweden-based e-commerce business selling activewear for women, announced getting into a transaction agreement for selling a major part of the company.

The deal was made with the Danish private equity company Polaris Private Equity, which acquired 51% of the shares.

Stronger, founded in 2013 by Henrik GrundénJuri Gendelman and Joel Almqvist, and led by CEO Annica Rantala, built a D2C e-commerce business specialising in sustainable activewear and clothing for women. The company has 40 employees and produced sales of SEK 300M ($36M) in 2020.
