Sunday to raise a $100 million Series A funding round led by Coatue and DST Global.

Sunday, a Paris, France-based startup developing a consumer facing B2B software suite for the hospitality business, announced closing a $100 million series A funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Coatue with participation from partners of DST Global.

Sunday was founded in 2014 by Victor Lugger, Tigrane Seydoux and Christine de Wendel, with the first two previous founders of a successful restaurant chain from France, Big Mamma. They developed a software solution helping restaurants manage the entire customer cycle on-premises from the food ordering to payment, with add-ons such as integrating with legacy systems such as Oracle Micros, Brinks, Tiller, Zelty, Revo, CashPad, etc.

The company says it works with around 1500 restaurants and is aiming to get to 15k customers from the U.S., the U.K., Spain, France and Canada. It previously raised a $24 million seed investment round in April 2021.
