Superplus from Norway raised NOK 3M, focuses on B2B sales in USA..

Superplus, a Norwegian startup providing an app that helps children with special needs to communicate, raised NOK 3M.

Superplus was founded by Katrine Gulstad Pedersen, Roald Øien and Kim Daniel Arthur and developed an Super Peak, an app with two parts: one that helps children communicate using pictures and sound from their own surroundings, and one more oriented around play, whose main purpose is to help children develop language.

The money comes from TD Veen, which follows up its previous investment from 2015, contributing this time with more than one million NOK. 450,000 NOK is invested by Preecap AS, and the rest was matched by pre-seed funds via Norinnova.

Super Peak has a subscription model and has been downloaded by 3000 users. The company also makes money by working with and licensing the application to schools from the USA.

The investment money will be used for hiring sales people focusing on the B2B side of business.
