Swarmia to raise a €5.7 million seed funding round led by Alven.
Swarmia, a Helsinki, Finland-based software startup, announced the completion of a €5.7 million ($6.9M) seed funding round.
The money was raised from a range of investors led by the Paris-based VC Alven Capital, joined by Lifeline Ventures, Jigsaw VC, Irena Goldenberg, Alex Algard, Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen, Jonathan Benhamou and Romain Huet.
Proceeds will be used as the company plans to expand the business in the United States.
Swarmia, founded in 2019 by CEO Otto Hilska, developed a software tool aiming to help product development teams with collaboration by providing a holistic view to the engineering teams’ inner workings.
The tool, which targets an estimated market of 27 million software developers, integrates with development tools such as GitHub, Jira, Linear and various CI tools, bringing visibility to engineering work and helping executives make the right business decisions based on data rather than anecdotal evidence.
Swarmia was previously seeded with €1 million by Lifeline Ventures.
