Swedish Phoniro, the digital lock manufacturer, buys e-health company Joicecare, developer of video and supervisory system for the elderly, for $1.2M

The digital lock manufacturer Phoniro Systems is purchasing e-health company Joicecare, which develops video systems and robots for healthcare. The purchase price of just over 10 million, according to Di Digital.

Joicecares system allows home help keep track of patients without being physically present.

Phoniro Systems develops various technical systems for elderly care, including digital locks similar to those Glue sells in the retail market. Glue was spun off from Phoniro in 2014.
