Synapse Medicine raised $8 million in a funding round led by the MACSF.

Synapse Medicine, a Bordeaux, France-based creator of a ‘medication intelligence platform’ dedicated to correct drug use, announced that it completed a funding round of $8 million.

The money was raised from investors led by MACSF, with the support of XAnge, BNP Paribas, BPI and Nicolas Dessaigne.

Synapse Medicine, founded in 2017 by CEO Clément Goehrs, delivers easily accessible, reliable and up-to-date drug information. This funding will allow them to move faster forward and to bring Synapse within reach of anyone who needs it.

To date Synapse Medicine raised $11 million over a 14-month period (starting with a €2.5 million seed round in March 2019) and also tripled the size of its staff.
