Sync. secured a £5.5 million seed round.
Sync., a London, UK-based fintech startup, announced securing capital investment of £5.5 million ($7.2M).
The funding, which was actually completed earlier on in 2020, will be used to support the company's preparation to launch its services in Europe.
Sync., founded in 2018 by Ricky Lee (formerly Revolut's head of product design and strategy), aims to offer an all-in-one hub that allows users to open a sync. account in minutes, and link all existing financial accounts and cards. The service was initially due to launch in March this year, but was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. sync. already has 37,000 registered users on the platform and hopes to offer premium accounts, money management features and launching in over 30 currencies.
The company is based in London and has an additional office in Malaga, Spain.
