Taxy.io raises more capital
Taxy.io, an Aachen, Germany-based software developer of intelligent automation solutions for tax consultancy, announced that it raised the capital.
The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, was made with existing shareholders TechVision Fonds and included contributions from new investor 42CAP.
Proceeds will be used to expand its business activities to the entire DACH region as well as increasing the product scope from tax advice to general legal advice.
Taxy.io, founded in 2018 by Daniel Kirch, Steffen Kirchhoff, Sven Peper and Sven Weber, develops and sells B2B software solutions for tax consultants, auditors, accountants and employees in finance departments. The technological focus of the software is on the automation of consulting and research processes using artificial intelligence (AI). The company says that it already serves large, internationally active auditing and tax consultancy firms, software manufacturers as well as medium-sized companies and corporations with their own tax or finance departments.
Taxy.io previously raised a seed funding round back in 2019.
