Telness launches a MVNO targeted to local entrepreneurs, backed by SEK 14M.

Telness, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup managing a digital platform for MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) services, raised SEK 14M ($1.7M).

The backers include local investors Andreas Bernström, Viveka Ekberg and investment company JCE Investments, and the money will be used to launch the service and build the business.

Telness, founded in 2017 by former Telenor employee Martina Klingvall, developed a digital platform that sells mobile services and which uses Telia's infrastructure. The services are aimed at entrepreneurs and small businesses and start from a monthly fee of SEK 299 ($35). According to Digital DI, the company already has 400 customers.
