Telness to raise €1.5 million in post-seed funding from local investors from Sweden.

Telness, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating an MVNO business, announced the completion of a €1.5 million ($1.7M) post-seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors from Sweden, including angel investor Viveka Ekberg, and Gothenburg-based JCE Investments.

Telness, founded in 2017 by CEO Martina Klingvall, provides mobile telephony and other services with functions specially adapted for small medium businesses, as a customer-focused alternative to the major operators. The company is aiming to launch Telness Technologies, a cloud-based, digital end-to-end solution sold as a white label in order to provide the same technology stack Telness uses to other telcos looking to go digital. The company says it handles business for 10,000 business customers in Sweden.

Priot to this round, Telness raised around $5 million, last round announced in 2019.
