Templafy raises $17.2 million in a Series B round led by Insight Venture Partners to scale its SaaS platform for enterprise business communications.

Templafy, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing a SaaS platform delivering brand governance and productivity across enterprise business communications, announced raising $17.2 million in a Series B investment round.

The backers were led by American investment company Insight Venture Partners, and included new and existing investors, such as Dawn Capital, SEED Capital, Preben Damgaard and other private investors. Jonathan Rosenbaum and Teddie Wardi from Insight Venture Partners will join Templafy’s Board of Directors.

The funding will be used to accelerate Templafy’s growth plan, which includes scaling operations, expanding its product and integrations offering.

Templafy, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen, aims to simplify the process of managing and sharing business templates in organizations by gathering them on a platform and streamlining how users create on-brand and compliant documents, presentations and emails. In 2016, the company accounted losses of DKK 4.7M in Denmark.

Today, Templafy has 200 customers and 45 employees in offices from Denmark, Spain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to this deal, Templafy raised more than $4M in risk capital.
