Textual raises $1.3M from Wellstreet and angel investor Alexander Hars.

Textual, a Göteborg, Sweden-based company providing a software solution for automatically creating unique, original content and marketing materials, announced closing a SEK 12M ($1.3M) capital investment round.

The financing was supported by Swedish investors including angel Alexander Hars and investment company Wellstreet.

Textual, founded in 2015 by CEO Henrik Gemoll, developed a web technology that provides automated content generation in 15+ languages. The tech is used for creating product descriptions, ads and personalised content, based on a hybrid of linguistics and machine learning technologies.
