The Boundary secured £8.2 million investment from Mobeus

The Boundary, a London, UK-based building SAAS for architectural visualisation, announced completing a £8.2 million ($11.6M) investment round.

The money was raised from the British private equity investors from Mobeus.

The deal was led by Dominic Draysey, Mobeus Investment Manager, who worked with Partner Chris Price and Investment Analyst George Chatzimanolis on the deal. Mobeus Partner Justin Maltz will join the board.

Mobeus introduced investing Chairman Andrew McGuiness as part of the deal. McGuiness has a strong track record growing creative agencies and was formerly CEO of TBWA and Freuds and co-founded two agencies: Beattie McGuinness Bungay and Seven Dials.

The Boundary, founded in 2014 by CEO Tom Wood, is an architectural visualisation (ArchVis) studio pioneering the use of digital technologies to represent the built environment. The company works with world-renowned architects including Renzo Piano, Tadao Ando, and Foster + Partners, on some the world’s most prestigious projects, including The Waldorf Astoria Hotel redevelopment in New York.

The company found business cases for their solutions in other new sectors, including luxury automotive and eCommerce.
