The Org in a $20 million Series B led by Tiger Global
The Org, a Danish company headquartered in New York , USA, working on a social network based on organisational charts, announced that it raised $20 million in series B financing round.
The money was raised from investors led by Tiger Global, joined by Sequoia, Founders Fund, and Balderton Capital, as well as new backers Thursday Ventures, Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen (a former Balderton partner), Neeraj Arora (formerly employed by WhatsApp) and investor Gavin Baker.
According to media sources, the deal values The Org at $100 million.
The Org, founded in 2017 by CEO Christian Wylonis and Andreas Jarbøl, aims to develop a digital tool that makes it easy to find the most relevant person to contact at a company. The tool aggregates a global, publicly-viewable database of company organizational charts, and use it as a platform in order to host other services, such as recruitment. The company says it hosts around 130,000 public org charts and has more than 120,000 registered users.
The Org previously raised $11 million from professional investors, financing announced in 2020.
