Tietomekka gets sold to Karnell.

K4 Sweden AB (Karnell), a Stockholm, Sweden-based private investment company, announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Tietomekka.

The transaction has undisclosed financial details and was made with Nordic Option, which divests all its shares. Tietomekka’s management team remains the same and continues to be large minority shareholders.

Tietomekka, founded in 1998 by chairman of the board Matti Pikkarainen, is an Oulu-based software company with customers within infrastructure maintenance, e.g. contractors, maintenance purchasers and consultants. The company is a growth company and aims to continue to develop its solutions and, consequently, achieve a significant market position in the field of infrastructure maintenance software in the Nordic countries.
