Tise secured NOK 200 million in a round backed by Nysnø, ebay, Bring Ventures and existing investors.

Tise, an Oslo, Norway-based operator of a digital classifieds marketplace, secured a NOK 200 million ($20 million) equity seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by US-based ebay through ebay Ventures, joined by Nysnø Climate Investments, Bring Ventures, Luxor Capital and VNV Global.

Proceeds will be used to strengthen its position as the market leader in the Nordics, while beginning to look towards expanding into larger European territories such as Germany, France, and the UK. Including this new round of funding.

Tise, founded in 2014 by CEO Eirik Frøyland Rime and Axel Franck Næss, developed a digital marketplace for second hand clothing and interiors. It says it handles over one million registered users in Norway and 2.5 million combined in the Nordics, with 150,000 daily users. It previously raised $11 million in 2021 and $6.6 million in 2020.
