Top Doctors raised $13 million from Impact Partners and ICF Venture Tech II
Top Doctors, a Barcelona, Spain-based operator of a healthcare marketplace platform, announced raising $13 million.
The money was raised from investors including Impact Partners and ICF Venture Tech II. The deal includes a secondary transaction via which existing shareholders Inveready divests their holding. The equity raised will be used to strengthen business position in its main geographical areas of operation and in those with the greatest difficulty of access to medical professionals, as well as to continue supporting doctors in their digitization process.
Top Doctors, founded in 2013 by Alberto Porciani and Lorena Bassas, is a digital health company helping patients to find the most relevant specialists for their pathologies in European countries and Latin American countries where this access is inefficient. Top Doctors offers patients access tools to the most prestigious national and international medical team, more than 90,000 experts from more than 50 specialties in Mexico, Colombia , Chile , Argentina , Spain, Italy, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. Top Doctors' SaaS solution offers physicians a set of digital tools encompassing online reputation management, presence and branding services, medical appointment reservation assistance, teleconsultation services, and payment solutions, among others.
