TotalCtrl secured NOK 20 million

TotalCtrl, an Oslo, Norway-based startup working on a food waste solution, secured NOK 20M ($2.3M).

TotalCtrl, founded in 2017 by CEO Charlotte Aschim and Ingrid Østby, is building a business based on a software solution that uses an API tracking the expiration date of food and thusly reducing food waste

The tool helps both consumers and retailers in dealing with food waste challenges by achieving total control over product expiration dates, time management, budgets, and facilitating conscious consumer decisions. The solution is designed based on automatic data harvesting which seamlessly can integrate into existing infrastructure.
