Tracktor raises €12 million from AXA Venture Partners and Bpifrance
Tracktor, a Paris, France-based startup operating a marketplace for construction machinery rentals, announced closing a €12 million ($13.6M) series A capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by AXA Venture Partners and Bpifrance, and joined by Kerala Ventures, BTP Capital Investissement and business angels Xavier Niel and Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet.
Tracktor, founded in 2016 by Idir Ait si Amer, Julien Mousseau and Laura Medji, developed a platform used as an intermediary between 400 equipment rental rental providers and 3,500 construction companies, supported by 35 employees.
The company previously raised $4.2 million, with most of it secured in 2019.
