Trackunit A/S was acquired by Gro Capital and Goldman Sachs.

Trackunit, an Aalborg, Denmark-based provider of telematic solutions for fleet management announced that it entered into an agreement for being acquired.

The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, involves that Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division and GRO Capital will acquire M-Tec Holding, Pandrup, the parent company of Trackunit, from the founders of the company, Svend M. Hansen and Jesper Fjeldsø.

Trackunit, founded in 2003 and led by CEO Jørgen Raguse, is a company specializing in telematics solutions for all sizes of fleets across a wide range of industries. Its solutions are used in a range of verticals, from the transport and service sectors to rental companies and the construction industry. From the hardware units to the software solutions, Trackunit develops and manufactures the complete fleet management system.
