Tumelo raised $19 million Series A round led by Treasury.
Tumelo, a Bristol, UK-based software startup building an impact-focused fintech platform, raised $19 million in a Series A round.
The money was raised from investors led by Treasury, a US-based Fintech venture, joined by Legal & General (L&G), Fidelity International Strategic Ventures (FISV), Nucleus Adventure Capital, Lance Uggla, previous CEO of IHS Markit, and Jim Wiandt, founder of ETF.com.
The proceeds will be used to support the firm's expansion into the US, Australia and additional market segments
Tumelo, founded in 2018 by Benjamin King, CEO Georgia Stewart and William Goodwin, developed a software tool that helps investment platforms and pension providers to engage investors with shareholder voting. The tool shows investors which companies their money is being invested in, and it collects voting preferences to send to fund managers.
