Uizard Technologies raises $800k in seed capital from Danish and international investors.
Uizard, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup providing a software tool that turns design mockups into source code, announced adding $800k in a seed capital investment round.
The money comes from a range of Danish and international investors, including LDV Capital, ByFounders, The Nordic Web Ventures, 7percent Ventures, New York Venture Partners, and angel investors Peter Stern, Philipp Moehring and Andy Chung.
Uizard, founded in 2017 by Florian van Schreven, Henrik Haugbølle, Ioannis Sintos and Tony Beltramelli, developed a software tool that automatically turn design mockups into source code that developers can plug into their backend code. The company released their first research milestone dubbed “pix2code” and implementation on GitHub in June 2017, when it gained popularity on the process of getting ready to launch.
