The Swedish company Universal Avenue has raised SEK 43 million in new capital. The investors are the venture capital firm Moor (who are former investors in the company), North Zone, which led the round and American Salesforce's venture capital arm, Salesforce Ventures.
Universal Avenue offers what they call the "sales-as-a-service" or "sales-on-demand". The business concept is to connect freelance salesman with companies that want to increase their growth.
"It can be a good extra work for such students to be brand ambassadors. For brands, it is an opportunity to through an interface handle very many markets and accelerate growth," says Johan Lilja, managing director of Universal Avenue.
