Unobravo in a €17M equity deal led by Insight Partners.
Unobravo, a Naples, Italy-based health startup bulding a marketplace connecting customers with therapists, announced completing a €17 million ($17.4M) series A investment round.
The money was raised from investors led by US-based Insight Partners, and included contributions from angel investors Thomas Plantenga, CEO & founder at Vinted, Olivier Bonnet, CTO at BlaBlaCar and Rika Christanto, COO of Idoven. The transaction includes a secondary part with SocialFare Seed, which fully exited its equity position.
Alessandro Luciano of Insight Partners will also join as board member of Unobravo, as part of the deal.
Unobravo, founded in 2019 by CEO Danila De Stefano, developed a software platform for therapists, helping them manage their practices, host video calls and coordinate one-to-one sessions. On top of that, the company developed a marketplace connecting them with customers, using an algorithm that’s trained on a patient questionnaire. The company says it onboarded 2000 therapists on the platform and has handled around 40000 patients from Italy and Spain.
Unobravo was initially seeded by CDP Venture Capital back in 2020.
