Unomaly was acquired by US-based LogicMonitor
Unomaly, a Stockholm, Sweden-based AI-monitoring company, announced that it entered into an agreement for being acquired by the US-based IT infrastructure monitoring firm LogicMonitor.
Financial details of the transaction remained undisclosed.
LogicMonitor, led by CEO Kevin McGibben, is known as a provider of infrastructure monitoring and intelligence across both on-premise and cloud. The company is backed by the private equity firm Vista Equity Partners.
Unomaly, founded in 2012 by CEO Johan Gustafsson and CTO Göran Sandahl, developed technology used by ITOps and DevOps teams to intelligently process logs and identify critical insights needed to stay ahead of issues. The company automatically is analysing data that is produced by IT systems and applications and uses algorithms to learn the pattern of an IT system in order to recognise the difference between crashes to breaches.
Unomaly was backed by Swedish investors EQT Ventures and Catea Group.
