Upodi was acquired by Visma

Upodi, an Aarhus, Denmark-based developer of subscription management software solutions, announced getting into an agreement for being acquired by the Norwegian financial service provider Visma.

Financial details were not disclosed.

By acquiring Upodi, Visma will continue to streamline subscription-based business models, to meet the growing demand in the market.

Upodi, founded in 2015 and led by CEO Rasmus Foged, built a cloud platform that automates the management and financial transactions of companies with subscription-based business models. The company works with customers using their subscription solution in different industries - they include ncluding Lunar, Goodiebox, and MobilePay.

Upodi was backed by SEED Capital, which funded the company in 2017.
