Vården.se to raise funding from Bonit Capital and Luminar Ventures

Vården.se, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a healthcare media business, secured a SEK 8M (900k) capital investment raise.

The funding was provided by a range of investors from Sweden, private and institutional, including Luminar Ventures, Bonit Capital, Richard Båge and Per Eriksson.

Vården.se, founded in 2012 by Martin Palm and CEO Staffan Gustavsson, developed a website aggregating information about the healthcare facilities from Sweden. The company's business model involves charging a fee to the heatlhcare instituions for advanced features. In 2019, Vården.se was not profitable and had sales of just under SEK 6.2 million ($700k).
