Vauban announced a £1.6 million capital raise from Pi Labs, Kima Ventures, Westloop Ventures, Argonautic Ventures and UFP Fintech.

Vauban, a London, UK-based SAAS developer for alternative investors, announced that it raised £1.6 million ($2.1M) in capital.

The money was raised from investors including Pi Labs, Kima Ventures, Westloop Ventures, Argonautic Ventures and UFP Fintech.

Proceeds will be used to expand the business focus into the world of real estate funds and special purpose vehicles (SPVs).

Vauban, founded in 2018 by CEO Rémy Astie, develops software-based solutions focused on the small and mid-size venture and private equity fund space, where its online process has been used to form over 120 funds. The company has as a target of creating funds worth £1bn by mid-2021, and its existing funds have been used to facilitate deals into the likes of Airbnb, SpaceX, Atai Life Science, Calm and Algolia.
