Velca closed an investment round of €747k on Crowdcube.

Velca, a Madrid, Spain-based manufacturer of electric motorcycles, raised funding of €747.4k ($885k).

The money was raised from 161 investors via an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube.

Velca, founded in 2019 and led by CEO Emilio Froján, produces 100% electric motorcycles and mopeds with an intelligent system designed to improve the sustainability of the planet and mobility in our cities. The company launched three models of electric scooters and expects to open its first physical store in Madrid this September.
