Vensum Power raised €1M in seed funding from Lifeline Ventures

Vensum Power, an Espoo, Finland-based developer of a technology called Unified Software Defined Power Conversion (USDPC), announced that it raised €1M ($1.1M) in seed funding

The money was provided by from Lifeline Ventures, an early-stage technology investor based in Finland. The funding enables Vensum Power to complete the development of the first product generation and enter the market during 2020.

Vensum Power, founded in 2018 by CEO Jyrki Penttonen , developed the USDPC technology, removing the bottlenecks in existing power conversion systems. It reduces switching losses to the minimum via patent pending softswitching methods. It also implements a true multiport configuration in which the same modular architecture adapts to any topology or application or any power level.
