Ventriject announced raising DKK 12 million series A led by Investo Capital and joined by Vækstfonden
Ventriject, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based developer of a wearable device for health care, announced securing a DKK 12 million ($1.9M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors from Denmark led by Investo Capital and joined by Vækstfonden and TechStation.
Ventriject, founded in 2018 by CEO Stig Visti Andersen, Peter Boman Samuelsen, Samuel Emil Schmidt and and Peter Søgaard, is a spinout from Aalborg University launched with the overall goal of spreading cardiorespiratory fitness as the global standard for health examination.
The company developed the Seismofit Device, a wearable that provides a recording of body vibrations induced by heartbeat. This provides the individual, quickly and without any need of exercising, with determination of CRF valuable both for general health but also check of personal progression in fitness for both professionals and amateurs.
