Verdane purchases Zisson.

Zisson, an Oslo, Norway-based company providing cloud-based switchboard software solutions announced that it was acquired by Verdane Capital.

The transaction, which has the financial details undisclosed, was part of a larger deal that included the acquisition of another Norwegian company, Penetrace, from the Norwegian investment company Skagerak Maturo.

The deal valued the two companies at NOk 150M ($18M) and was closed between their respective funds, Verdane Capital IX and Skagerak Venture Capital I’s and Skagerak Seed Capital II.

Skagerak Maturo was the owner of 58% of the equity shares in Zisson, and 42% of Penetrace.

Zisson, led by CEO André Jensen, develops and sells a modular cloud-based contact centre solution which makes end-customer communication better and easier as it takes care of inbound and outbound customer dialogue. The company has doubled its revenues over the past three years.
