Vessla raises $800k and adds new angel investors to the company.
Vessla, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company working on designing and producing electric scooters, secured a new investment round totalling SEK 7M ($800k).
The money comes from new and existing investors, including Ludvig Linge, Simon Josefsson, Martin Thilander and Magnus Gottås and values the company at SEK 32M.
Vessla, founded in 2017 by Rickard Bröms (CEO), Peter Klangsell and Mikael Klingberg, developed an electric scooter that can run at 45 kilometers per hour and reach a range of 40-60 kilometers per charge. The unit price is SEK 20k and the company already cashed in SEK 10M in pre-orders - the product is estimated to be delivered starting with the summer of 2018.
Prior to this, Vessla raised $300k at the end of 2017.
