Vionlabs announced raising more capital funding in the company.

Vionlabs, a Stockholm, Sweden-based SAAS provider of AI-powered content analysis, announced in a press release that it secured another round of capital funding.

The company is backed by investors including Northzone, Access Partners, Zenith and Stefan Lennhammer through Reeda Capital.

Proceeds will be used to hire more people and expand, as the company already announced hiring Cecilie Chen as Chief Operating Officer.

Vionlabs, founded in 2010 by Arash Pendari and led by CEO Marcus Bergström, developed a software as a service video discovery platform that is sold as white label product to companies including Vialab, Spotify or Tele2.

In addition to the Content Analysis Platform, the company launched another product called the Emotional Fingerprint API, deployed through a Data as a Service model to enable media companies to make better decisions based on deep AI generated video data and insights,  including the emotional content of video.

Vionlabs previously raised almsot $12 million.
