Vira Health raised a £1.5M seed funding from LocalGlobe and MMC Ventures.

Vira Health, a London, UK-based startup developing digital solutions for women, secured a seed funding round of £1.5M ($2M).

The money was raised from investors led by London-based VCs LocalGlobe and MMC Ventures, joined by angel investors including Megumi Ikeda (Hearst Ventures), Andrea Zitna of Elvie, Sophia Bendz, Matt Robinson, and Simon Lambert.

Vira Health, founded in 2020 by Andrea Berchowitz and Rebecca Love, is a health provider of digital therapeutics designed to offer evidence-based interventions for menopause symptoms. Its first product, Stella, is an app for menopause relief highlighting 12-week menopause treatment plans, content, and virtual events such as yoga classes or a Q&A with a gynecologist.
