Visma buys up Bluegarden

Visma Group announced the acquistion of 100% of Bluegarden Group. The acquisition will strengthen Visma’s position in the market and secure future development of sustainable solutions for new and existing customers.

Bluegarden, led by CEO Mogens Elsberg, develops and offers payroll and HRM services and is a major player in the Scandinavian market. The company works with 65.000 customers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, has 550 employees and its net revenue amounted to 793 MDKK in 2016.The company’s headquarter is located in Ballerup, Denmark.

Visma, led by CEO Øystein Moan, is a Norwegian software house that simplifies and digitizes core business processes within the private and public sector. The company works with 600,000 customers in Northern Europe, has 5.500 employees and its net revenue amounted to 7.855 million in 2016.

Visma is owned by the private equity company HgCapital, which acquired it for $5.3bn in 2016.
