Vixel, a Gjøvik, Norway-based software simulations developer, announced in a press release that it completed a fresh capital round.

The money was provided by investors from Norway, including Construct Ventures and Skagerak Maturo.

Vixel, founded in 2014 by CEO Rune Vandli, aims to improve interaction within the building, construction and real estate industries with the help of VR technology. The company developed a software solution, VREX, that gives project participants and stakeholders the opportunity to enter the 3D model (BIM) and experience the project in 1 to 1 size.

VREX was launched in 2019 and has since been tested within AF Gruppen's civil engineering operations. AF Gruppen is a real estate property developer from Norway and one of the two owners of Construct Ventures.
