Voi raised $45 million in a Series C round extension backed by The Raine Group and existing investors VNV Global.

Voi, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of on-deman scooters, announced that it raised an additional $45 million in funding.

The deal represents an extension to its $160 million financing round closed at the end of 2020 and was backed by The Raine Group from the USA and VNV Global from Sweden.

VOI Technology was founded in 2018 by Adam Jafer, Filip Lindvall, Douglas Stark and Fredrik Hjälm (CEO) with the aim to create an affordable system of electrically powered scooters for urban commuters.
